Graduated with top marks from the Roberto Rossellini Institute of Cinema and Television and the North East Wales Institute.
I write, direct, and develop Ips, most recently developing and directing the super popular Disney Junior show The PJ Masks for eOne Entertainment and Hasbro.
I also directed the French-produced film Yellowbird, with the voices of Dakota Fanning, Elliot Gould, and Danny Glover, to mention a few!
I started in animation in London in 1992 and worked on projects such as Space Jam, Channel 4 sports idents, and U2’s music video Hold Me Kiss Me Thrill Me Kill Me for the movie Batman Forever.
I have worked with Wes Anderson and Tim Burton as Head of Story and Story Artist on films such as Fantastic Mr. Fox, Moonlight Kingdom, Grand Budapest Hotel, Isle of Dogs, and Frankenweenie.
Past clients have included Disney, Warner Brothers, Cartoon Network, Nickelodeon, BBC,
I have supervised feature films for Martin Gates Productions at the famed Hanna & Barbera studio FIL Cartoons in Manila, Philippines.
I also teach and do workshops, and my list of Festivals and Schools includes the prestigious Les Gobelins in Paris, the Annecy Festival, CSC in Turin, and Rubika in Valenciennes, as well as the School of Comics in Naples, The Stuttgart Tricksfilm Festival, The Dresden Film Fest, The Edit Filmmaker’s Festival in Frankfurt, RedStick in Louisiana, Animafest in Zagreb, FICAM in Morocco, and the Animation Workshop in Viborg, Denmark.
